John was previously the group finance director for Thistle Mining Inc, the Canadian gold mining company. John was a director of British Linen Advisers for four years before joining Thistle Mining. Prior to this he was finance director for Paladin Resources, the UK independent oil and gas exploration and production company. He is a fully-qualified Scottish Chartered Accountant.
